Places That Tell a Story
The programme Plekken met een verhaal (Places that tell a story) was developed for students in vocational education in the Netherlands. It aims to give meaning to places of memory for the students by telling a personal story that is connected to the location and to make a connection to life nowadays. The programme consists of a digital preparatory lesson in school, and a programme at the site. Places That Tell a Story is created by the Jewish Cultural Quarter, Camp Vught National Memorial, Memorial Center Camp Westerbork, National Monument Camp Amersfoort, and the Memorial Center Dutch Indies.
A project video with English subtitles is available.
